Designing for maximum performance

There are a number of things you can do at the design stage to maximise the performance of your study during data entry:

• We recommend a maximum of 100 questions on an eForm and an ideal of less than 50.

• Arezzo conditions directly impact performance so if you have a lot of validations, derivations and Only Collect If conditions on a long eForm, consider splitting it into several smaller eForms.

• If you have a repeating question group containing more than 10 questions in a row, consider using a repeating eForm instead. This is likely to improve performance and will be more manageable for users than having to navigate complicated, scrolling sections.
