Creating a list of laboratories

To create, edit or delete a laboratory, you need the 'Maintain laboratories' permission

Select Parameters > Normal Ranges and CTC. The Normal Ranges and CTC window is displayed.
Select the Laboratories tab.
Click Create. Fields that are filled with yellow are mandatory and need to have valid data entered before the screen can be saved.
Enter a unique code and a description for the laboratory. This must begin with a letter and may have up to 15 alphanumeric characters. Spaces are not allowed but you can use the underscore character instead.
Click Save to save the new laboratory, or Cancel to abort the creation.

Select Parameters > Normal Ranges and CTC. The Normal Ranges and CTC window is displayed.
Select the Laboratories tab.
Select the laboratory that you wish to edit and click Edit.
Make your changes and click Save to save them, or Cancel to abort.

Select Parameters > Normal Ranges and CTC. The Normal Ranges and CTC window is displayed.
Select the Laboratories tab.
Select the laboratory that you wish to delete and click Delete.
Click Yes to confirm the deletion, or No to abort.
