To import a laboratory definition, you need the 'Import laboratory' permission
To import a laboratory definition, you need the 'Import laboratory' permission
Select Tasks > Laboratory > Import. The Import Laboratory window is displayed.
Select the .ldd file that you wish to import. By default, exported laboratory definitions are stored in the Out Folder of the application folder.
Select the file and click Open. If you are importing a laboratory definition that already exists in the database, you will be asked in turn if you wish to overwrite it:
Click Yes to overwrite the existing data in the current message and Yes to All to overwrite all existing data.
Click No to retain the existing data in the current message and No to All to retain all existing data.
Click Show Details to view the details of the data.
Included in a standard installation are four sample laboratory definitions for use with the Demo Studies. They are available for import and can be found within the In Folder of the application folder.
