About notes

A note is a simple piece of text, attached to an individual question. Depending on user permissions, notes can be created and viewed by both data entry users and by data reviewers, as a method of communication between them, or as a personal reminder to the creator. Notes should not be confused with comments which are typically used to make clinically significant comments on a question and are stored in the audit trail.

 

There are two types of note:
