Clinical Coding module

About the Clinical Coding module

The optional MACRO Clinical Coding (CC) module works with a Clinical Coding service. It allows special thesaurus questions to be coded against a specific version of a medical dictionary in order to achieve consistency in describing symptoms.

At least one medical dictionary must be registered in a database. During the creation of a thesaurus question, the study designer must associate it with a specific dictionary. Once a response value has been entered these questions can be coded, either manually during data entry or automatically via the Batch Code Responses option in the Clinical Coding module.

The Clinical Coding module may be purchased in addition to the standard MACRO modules. Please contact InferMed for details.
