Adding comments

Comments are pieces of text and can be used for headings and notes on the eForm.

We recommend that you do not use comments as question captions. A caption created this way will not be treated as a part of the question and this can cause problems if the question is hidden or greyed out. As far as possible, captions should be created using the Auto Caption feature.

Adding a comment

  1. Open the eForm to which you wish to add a comment by clicking the eForms shortcut button and selecting the relevant tab.

  2. Click the Comment shortcut button.

  3. Click on the eForm at the place where you wish to add the comment.

  4. A free text box will appear. Enter your text and click OK to save your changes, or click Cancel to discard your changes.

  5. The comment will appear on the eForm at your selected place.

  6. Reposition it by dragging and dropping it. To do this, left-click on the comment. Hold down the left mouse button and drag the comment to the new position. Release the button on your mouse to drop the comment into position.
